Well, I have never had to file a claim so I might not have the whole story, but so far I have been treated fairly and the few times I have called them they have taken care of my issues without a problem.
State Farm is a very stable company. Especially for a homeowners policy I have no interest in a fly by night company or anything particularly "innovative".

I don't like how they are unable to do some of what they used to.they once could do anything insurance wise yu ou needed. Now to file any claim. You have to call a system.
I like how easy they are to talk to and I like how everything in the business is transparent and there is nothing that can get in the way of you.
For all the reasons I have mentioned above. Ease of access, willingness to help, knowledge of what our policy covers, and the sense of knowing they are there to help us if we need help again.
The way they dealt with my claim seemed very unprofessional, and they could have avoided talking to me entirely if they just communicated with the mortgage lender in the first place.

My only dislike would be a better program for customer loyalty. I have all of my insurances bundled (Auto, Home, Trailer, Boat) but I do not receive a very good discount for customer loyalty.
There aren't many things but I do not like about my company they have a great support system I could only say that the one thing I would change is after filing a claim for them not to call so much to make sure everything is okay

The technology the company uses seems out of date, especially at the agent's office. The last time I went to their office the employees were still using the green and white monitors (although that was several years ago).
