Farmer's Insurance
I know that I pay more than most. I compare from time to time to see what I would pay for different coverage amounts with other companies. So I wish in the end, there were ways that I could end up paying less each month.
State Farm
The website is difficult to navigate, but it looks professional - it could just make more sense as to where things are located. it also tends to freeze up on me
State Farm
The premium is very affordable, it isn't a big burden, we usually pay in full around tax season, that way we don't have to worry about it for an entire year, and it cuts down our monthly expenses. Compared to other companies, I assume the prices are very similar. The lender we got our mortgage with had an associate that he referred to us and we did not spend much time comparing rates because it was so affordable and quicker to go through the lenders agent
Progressive
As I have never had another company I am not sure how the rates compare but in general, progressive tends to be very competitive with other companies. I don't think $827/year is bad considering that covers our house, barn, tractor, etc.
State Farm
They are good. They are humble while dealing and makes every point clear. They help us to clear a doubt regarding a policy in their best way.
Southern Mutual Insurance Company
Customer service has been exceptional. There was an error with my policy when my mortgage companies switched and they went out of their way to get things fixed quickly so that I wasn't without coverage.
State Farm
There is actually nothing that we dislike about the company. We have never had any trouble at all. Our previous company was awful. Customer service reps were rude and un-helpful, Their rates continued to increase with no increase in coverage or benefits for the customer. This company has met and exceeded all of our expectations.
Horace Mann Educators Corporation
No knowledge of a website or app for my insurance company. I use paper billing and pay through an escrow account.
Country Financial
My only dislike of Country is not with homeowners insurance, but with their business side. Country Financial subs out their workman comp insurance, and the company is poor to work with (SFM). I have had many issues and dislike that aspect of dealing with Country. Fortunately, my local rep is very good at fixing all of the issues with them.
State Farm
we were hesitant about going with an out of state insurance company and felt that having a local agent was more practical and eased our minds with if we needed to file a claim. We have not needed to file a claim, but we did add something to our policy and we couldn't be happier with the quality of service that was provided.
State Farm
I would recommend State farm to friends simply based on Hurricane Katrina. After the storm, the were able to an appointment and assess damages quickly. We were awarded a fair payout of what we had lost.
State Farm
I dislike that they are sometimes slow to respond. When I filed a claim they did not interact with me as frequently as they could have. This bothered me and made me consider changing to a new company.
Farmer's Insurance
I think that they could reach out to their customers more regularly. I mean if you are investing in a company you want them to know that you care.
Geico
I love this company. I have been a customer for many many years and I cannot find anyone else that beats the rates along with the customer service that you receive. When you call them it's like talking to a good friend. That is what I call service.
Farmer's Insurance
They have been reliable and responsive to claims whenever i have had to make one. They also constantly call to follow up on issues raised.
State Farm
The location of their office is a little bit farther away than some of the other companies in the area
State Farm
It was easy for me to save with state farm because they bundled my auto and my home owner's insurance into one plan. the multiple insurance plans qualified me for a discount.
