Positive Reviews & Ratings
I like the pricing, the insurance type they provide, and the reliability of the company. Using their website makes it easy to get in contact with them.
Overall, I like the willingness that they have to want to work with me. They don't pass me around or make run around in circles. They help you as best as they can.
I am really happy with the premiums and deductible when compared to my friends and family for the amount of coverage we get. It is really good!
Again... customer service has been wonderful. I can't say this enough. I don't know if other Nationwide agents are as attentive, friendly, and professional as mine, but if they are, I would recommend Nationwide to anyone.
i do not like that they do not offer flood insurance. didi not find that out until my house was flooding from a storm
The only thing I dislike about the company is the lack of mobile applications to assist in keeping track of things.
I like what is covered in my policy. Not only is my house, but the surrounding area around my house as well as jewelry. I like it's the cheapest option too for me.
I like that I have access to my insurance company 24/7. It is nice being able to have them there when I need them.
I like the premium I pay. I think it is lower than most for the amount of coverage I get. I believe I have a great premium.
I really haven't had any interactions with my insurance company. We have only been there about 2 years and haven't had any claims.
I like the fact that they leave me alone when I do not need anything. They do no deluge me with letters, emails, and calls. I like that they are easy to use and get answers.
I like the companies customer service. Their competitive rates make it worth my time and the fact my mortgage company takes the payment out each month is a bonus.
My insurances customer service and claims process have made me a loyal customer. Though they are not the cheapest homeowners insurance around I believe they are the best company for me.
I like the great customer service. They make me feel like I'm a unique customer and are always catering to my needs.
I wish I knew my insurance agent more. I am used to the local insurance agent you go to to get coverage.
Safeco is very affordable and offers the specific coverage we need for our particular home and insurance needs annually.
I liked how personable everybody is, from my agent to the customer service when I call. The are also the least expensive compared to other companies which is a plus
I like that they are there if I need them. I also like the amount I pay monthly compared to the amount of coverage I get.
Safeco has a good reputation and did handle my
One claims smoothly. The premium is reasonable and
My policy was not surcharged for the claim
I like that they were able to beat my current price and that communication has been ok so far. I really like the online chat feature to be able to handle most things.
The experience with the selling rep not returning my calls after he made the sale makes me unhappy. I know its this person's job to sell, but even a return email would have been nice.
There is nothing I really dislike, maybe that they are
Based out west in Seattle. I am on the east coast so
They don't have a big presence in my area.
The company has competitive insurance rates and does provide the homeowner with a statement about a month prior to payment being due.
I do like that they help match cost to keep me as a customer and they do always answer questions or call back quickly. I also like that the agent has an office close by if I ever need to speak to a person.
They have affordable rates and let me bundle my home and auto insurance together. The agent is local and answers his phone without going through a large automated process
It was a pain getting in contact with them. They were not as responsive as they should have been. The insurance payments seemed to go up inordinately in price after the incident
I like that they eventually paid what we felt they should have. Even if they were not really responsive. The company reps were pleasant enough people
I would be open to trying a new insurance company out especially if it would save me money.
They have been super nice and affordable compared to others. They are always there to help when I need it or just have a simple quick question.
I like that they were able to give me the coverage I was needing at a price that beat everyone else. I want to have what I need, but at the lowest price, so this makes me happy.
We switched from State farm to Safeco a few years back. We got a lower premium and an additional umbrella policy. Plus, my state farm agent was incompetent.
The only think I dislike about the company is that my premium could be a little lower. My premium is cheaper than other companies, but still is a little on the expensive side.
I dislike that my premium is somewhat high, but it's still cheaper than other companies. I dislike that they nickel and dime you for every coverage.
I just haven't had any real interactions with my insurance company. Between this company and my old company, I haven't had a need to communicate with them.
Negative Reviews & Ratings
There is nothing that I dislike about this company. They have been pretty good to me so far and I appreciate how they work with me.
The website acts sluggish at times, first of all. Second, they've recently started charging me a dollar per payment if I enroll in the autopsy plan. I've discontinued this plan and am now paying my bill manually. It and inconvenience to do it this way, and I'm not sure why they felt the need to charge people to automate their payments. I'm hoping this is temporary.
I do not dislike anything about the company. We do not have the traditional arrangement where we meet regularly or talk but I am fine with that.
Nothing really. My agency is like 50 miles away so I do not see them much. I am not sure I have any dislikes...
The premium could always be cheaper. I have a feeling my premiums will go way up on my next renewal.
They really need to update their website and add online chat as a feature. I don't like calling anymore into companies and definitely like to use the online chat feature.
The premium could be lower but it is lower than every other company out there at the moment.
