Again I'm just starting out with these folks so am still somewhat unsure but I am confident that they will handle my needs to my satisfaction. Or I will be looking for another insurer. I love the commercials.

Overall, I really like the service I have with progressive. With respect to any dislikes regarding Progressive, I wish that Progressive would offer more opportunities for discounts for existing customers from time to time. In addition to, the sending of text notifications for bill payments or inquiry confirmations, as do some of the financial institutions that I am a customer of.
How long the automotive voice recording is. It drags on and makes giving them a call unbearable

They're always there when I need them and offered us the best rate. I simply cannot say enough of good things about Progressive. Although I hope to never have to file a claim I could imagine that the claim process would not be difficult for them.

The only thing I didn't like about the insurance was that I had to have my payments setup as autopayments in order to get a lower rate. I don't feel that I need to setup autopayments in order to get a good rate, the rate should go off of your driving record.
I dislike the customer service and the policy of when a payment is late, they don't charge a late fee, they instead cancel and you have to beg them to restate the policy.
The company seems to be very stable and reliable from what I hear and that is what matters most. The price that I was offered was great and they seemed to be very interested in helping me as a first time home buyer.

So far there is nothing I could mention that I don't like about the company. I hope this will not change the first time I have a need to use the company.
The only negative thing is their website for home insurance, it just shows what You have and when You've paid. Some basic explanations of the coverage. That's it - no quotes in there.

I haven't really found anything to complain about with Progressive yet, and I've had homeowners insurance with them for over five years. The one thing that bothers me a little is that it usually takes them a little longer than I would expect to send my new policy documents when I renew each year.
Overall, my one complaint about progressive is that I wish they'd have a chat option on their website to help me with questions and changes to my policy. I guess the only thing I can say that I dislike honestly would be the price. I know insurance is necessary and even required in some cases but it sure is expensive. I understand why this is so but I think that we could all use cheaper insurance across the board. I am paying out quite a bit (at least I think it is) in the home, auto, health and life insurances.
Payment options are limited. It would be more convenient to pay monthly but that is not an option. Being able to spread out the payments makes a smaller hit financially whenever I pay.

I dislike there website and the usability of the site. It seems like every other week something is going wrong with it. Then even once it is working it is slow and hard to change different things on it. Normally after working on the site for a short amount of time I end up just giving up and calling them.

The website is hard to use on a tablet or mobile device of any kind. The website contains a lot of information and it is hard to read when its all thrown together on a mobile device screen that is not in the mobile version. The site does not have a mobile version, only desktop version.
I once missed a payment due to hard times and instead of just giving me a late fee, they had to cancel the entire policy and I had to plead them to restate the policy, there which also caused the premium to go up.
Because of the location i.e, very close to the beach, I am very limited in what insurance companies I have to choose from. I have stuck with this company for 20 years and will likely continue to do so simply because of limited options.
