Communication between me and my provider is pretty constant whether it be via email or some other form of contact. I much prefer in-person interactions but my local office is very far away from home. Telephone interactions are pretty good overall in my opinion.
I do not like that they do not seem to have a large number of available discounts. I have my auto insurance with them as well, and I got a bundle discount, but I am also a student so I was hoping for them to have a student discount as well. Not available.
It's easy to use and it has all the information that I need about my policy readily accessible. I have a hard time remembering my login sometime, but it's easy to reset.
State Farm
I dislike that my agents are constantly changing and no one ever notifies us. It is truly frustrating finding out that I have a new agent and I wasn't notified.
State Farm
My husband actually handled the homeowner's insurance after I got frustrated with trying to do my own research. I remember him telling me that he felt the most comfortable with this company and that the other quotes he received were very similar in premiums. I think in the end his dad had always used State Farm and he was just more comfortable going with a company he knew well.
They are friendly and knowledgeable and they do a quick and thorough job. They handle any issue I have very quickly and I have never had a complaint with them.
Amica Mutual Insurance
At this point in my relationship with Auto-Owners and our local agent, I have nothing negative to report. The yearly payment will be due in a couple of months and if there is a premium increase that would be a negative issue for me but hoping to see a decrease.
Allstate provides several discounts for having multiple policies with them. I currently have three different policies and receive a huge discount.
I called my agent about a rate increase that seemed rather large, and the dumb she didn't even return my call after claiming his system was slow right now, and he would call later.
I have all my insurance needs covered by Allstate except for motorcycle. They cannot beat Progressive's rates. I know once I update and review my coverage needs with our representative and compare that to other companies, it will be comparable in price and coverage. Customer service has always been friendly and good to deal with.
State Farm
Really, nothing. I like the company very much. The only changes I would like to see if lower premiums, but I think everyone feels this way regardless of what they pay
State Farm
I like that the premiums are reasonable, they have excellent customer service, and they make us feel like we are valued.
Wolverine Mutual Insurance
so far so good. If I have to file a claim and the task is difficult, then the number might change. I'm glad for the coverage that I have though, it is good and handy. I'd rather be covered and not need it than not be covered and need it.
Foremost Insurance
Nothing. I can't really say I dislike anything. Only recommend they make your policy available on their website in case you need to access. Most Floridians are snowbirds. Having the policy at our fingertips online would be very helpful.
The Hartford
The company website is often a little difficult to navigate, so we prefer to speak with them on the phone. Our premiums are also a little higher than we would like. That could be explained by the assumed risk we have by living near a floodplain, but still a little more expensive than we'd like.
State Farm
I like that I get discount for having my car and homeowners insurance in the same place. I like that I have known my agent for many years.
I have heard that some families are charged a lot more than they should be. there have been discrepancies about hidden fees also.
State Farm
The staff is always helpful when i call to file a claim. very courteous and knowledgeable. especially in times of crisis.
Although it took a while to get an inspector due to high volume, thanks to the hurricane irma, they still were very responsive.
