I pay about $700 a year for my home insurance (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, colonial style) it is a good price from Allstate. I get about $300,000 of coverage. I would give it a 5. I have been with Allstate for about 3 years. My agent is very nice and gave my a good price because bundle my car and home insurance. I do have a swimming pool and my deductible is $500. I also have a security system which give me an additional discount on the price I pay. I would highly recommend Allstate for home and car insurance. My home is about 1 mile away from the nearest fire station and we have a fire hydrant on the edge of our yard.
I currently way overpay for house insurance, I pay $500 a month with Geico and its eating a good portion of my monthly budget. Im getting full coverage on everything but Iam still not sure the cost is worth it. Every time I've called they have been receptive and pleasant to talk to but the cost is still a big factor in the back of my mind. I bundle my home and auto insurance together, and the auto insurance adds another $300 a month. I'm definitely glad I have insurance through Geico but wish there was some way that I could pay less.
