Latest Home Insurance Reviews
My local Allstate representative is easy to get in touch with and responds quickly to requests and questions. If I leave him a message, he usually gets back to me within a day.
I like how friendly and caring most of the agents i have spoken to are. they take the time to listen and if they don't understand or know how to help, they find someone who can help.
I don't use the website or mobile app and I just call if I’m in need of anything which I usually don't.
Overall they are a great company that offers great prices on their premiums and they seem to have very professional, competent agents working at their locations.
I don't like how high my premium is. I understand why it's like that but I feel a bit squeezed at times. I also don't like the non-personal feel it has compared to local insurance. It's definitely a monolithic corporation and I'm just a statistic, I would appreciate a more personal touch (for example dealing with the same agent every time).
They are friendly. They have low rates and good customer service. They are a well known insurance company.
As communication and customer service go hand in hand. I only have to communicate twice a year to my local agent when I remove and reinstate one of my vehicles because I store it for the winter. The insurance company communication was prompt and friendly.
Quick and easy. They took my information... Did their thing. Reached out to the necessary people and handled everything. I couldn't have asked for a smoother claim process.
The website is overall easy to navigate but it spends too much space offering new clients it services. I would like to have a dedicated site for existing clientele.
There is nothing I particularly dislike about the company. In an ideal world, I would, of course, like things to be a little more inexpensive, but at the moment I am not clamoring for this change to be made immediately.
I dislike the raised premium. It raised on both my auto and also on my homeowners all in one year. It went from reasonable to way, way too high.
I think overall they have done well for me. Whenever I needed their help they were there and have made things right for me.
I would recommend State Farm because of their prompt customer service when I've had a claim and am stressed out by it. Their staff is very calming and they have no problem paying for damages.
I really like how fast they get the work done once they do get out here to fix what the issue claim is. I also like how they give you a decent amount of damages.
Pricing of premiums and ease of paying when dealing with the local office are the things I like about the company other than that I can't think of anything.
I wish the prices could be a little lower. I'd like to see a long time loyal customers rewarded for no claims and for being with the company for a while. even if was just a small rebate like my energy company- for every day you're a customer you get a point. 300 points convert to a $25 credit.
The prices are good when you bundle your insurance, they have a bank option and a credit card company as well which can be nice
Overall state farm is a good insurance company to deal with. their customer service seems to be on top of what needs to be done and i am proud to be a member.
I used to be able to speak to the main guy in the office in the past and he would always be able to give me some additional discount, but now that he is pretty successful all you can get to are his employees and they are less likely to crunch some numbers and reduce the price.
I like the fact that they offer replacement coverage versus basing compensation on an assessment of worth. this means i will be able to fully replace anything that might be destroyed should god forbid something to happen.
