Latest Home Insurance Reviews

I would recommend USAA based upon the costs of premiums and the customer service alone. You are treated as family and in the event you need to submit a claim you are helped through the process.
State Farm
I would and have recommended this company to anyone looking for insurance at a good price. They , combined with customer service and everything they are the best all around.
MY rating is a 4. It seems all insurance is the same. I shop on price and customer reviews on quickness of payout when needed.
I would recommend them because they have been competent enough, as far as I know, so there would be no reason for me not to recommend them. There is no wow factor there, though.
I would highly recommend USAA for home insurance and in fact we use them for a lot of other services as well, like auto, etc. We've been with them for many years and I'm pretty satisfied.
I would recommend them. Every insurance company quoted us at least $300 a month more for auto insurance and we were definitely quoted less than any home insurance company we tried.
I will rate them 4. They are inexpensive and quite efficient. I do not like the agents they hire. They seem very prone to give you the minimum payment possible on a claim.
The offerings at USAA are comparable to other agencies for the price. I haven't shopped around TOO much, but I haven't found very many with comparable coverage for the same price.
State Farm
5. I am extremely satisfied with customer service. Every time I call them I have no problems with them. They talk to me and fix what ever I am calling about. I have never had a problem with them at all.
USAA simply cannot be beat. Early on, I shopped around on insurance and when I told other agents I was with USAA, they simply just said "Nobody can beat them. Just stay with them."
Farmer's Insurance
Mine is through my work and bargained through my Union so I think it is about as good as it gets for the private sector.
The premiums and deductibles of my policy with Allstate Company are both lower than those of other companies that I have had in the past like American Family and State Farm Insurance companies.
My home insurance company is very effective for me. They premiums are low and the deductibles are very reasonable. I would not me in the market for another insurance company at this time.
Farmer's Insurance
North carolina joint underwriters handled our claim much faster then all of our neighbors claims were handled. We were very pleased.
Farmer's Insurance
I have only needed them in times of emergency, such as a hurricane damage. They were very supportive and responsive.
Liberty Mutual
Based on my extensive positive experience with Liberty Mutual, I would definitely recommend the company to others.
You are able to set up a direct deposit online and you can see all of your payments quickly and paperless.
State Farm
Because i have been a customer of state farm for over 30 years, most of which are with my same agent, i wonder if he is still trying to keep my rate competitive, or if he just assumes i'll be a forever customer.
State Farm
I like our insurance company. they offer multi-policy discounts and our representative contacts us every few months to review our current policy and tries to get our rates down.
Nationwide has always been great. There mobile app/website are easy to use. It is clear, professional and easy to navigate. It is simple to find what you need and get help if you need it. At this point, I have had no negative experiences with their site/app.
Liberty Mutual
They are not intrusive. No box full of mail and no phone calls. They stay in the background and I like that.
American Family
The customer service has been top notch. I have my agent’s cell phone number, so I get great service every time, If I need assistance of some sort.
The customer service is top notch, but I do get frustrated at times with how big they are. You occasionally will get disconnected and they don't take down a number to call back at. It also seems, they don't read what previous people have done to your account, but once they become up to date they're great to work with.
It is easy to pay your bills online. Their customer service is amazing. I have never had any trouble making a claim or anything with them.
I think my insurance premium is fair. I have a mobile home and shopped around. Other companies were more expensive in their coverage.
State Farm
They offer pretty consistent service overall. They are generally pleasant to deal with. They tend to pay claims in an orderly fashion. Their bills are straightforward, which I appreciate.
I like how easy it is to adjust and change my policy from online without having to call someone. I would give a 5.
We have been with them for, literally, decades. They have served us well through all that time and we have no complaints (other than its not free). I don't foresee us changing providers anytime in the near future.
Currently, there is nothing I dislike about the company, but I'm sure that will not be entirely true after I've been a customer for a while, or need to file a claim. But until that time, I have nothing that I dislike.
The price may be really high. I don't really know, but it could be something. I might look into it soon.
I love this company and will not ever change. They truly take care of all the needs of their customers and assist with making sure you get what your paying for in your policy.
State Farm
Yes, I would recommend this company, if only for the reason that their price is competitive, they are pleasant to deal with and we have never had any issues with them.
My experience has been positive. Easy communication, reasonable prices. But since I have never had to make a claim, I'm not sure how well that is handled.
I would definitely recommend nationwide because they are competitive and their customer service is top notch where as other companies' customer service is not!
I wish there was a way to lower my premium however, I understand that there are fees for a reason. No complaints other than that.
I really dont know much regarding other home insurance policies. As i've never filed a claim, i feel like its hard to compare them.
State Farm
The company is well known. They handled my claims in a timely matter even though the response time was not as fast as I expected them to be.
The only thing I don't like about the company is that they don't have many locations, however, I know at the end that helps keep their costs down, which in turn keeps my costs down. However, it means often documents have to be sent by mail so that takes more time than walking into a branch.
Farmer's Insurance
It is insurance, so you always wish it cost less. But they choose everything I need, the price is reasonable, they seem responsive, and they haven't raised prices on me for four years. There's nothing to complain about.
Plummer Insurance
I am able to get affordable rates and the customer service is top notch. I am able to combine home insurance and car insurance.
