Farmer's Insurance
I also love the fact that state farm has multiple agents in my area to choose from. i have only had two (2) agents since i first purchased insurance from state farm back in 1982. having a local agent that i can physically talk to in person makes a big difference in how personalized my coverage is.
State Farm
I wish my insurance company would lower their prices and show a bit more appreciation for loyal customers. however, i can not complain to much about their services whatsoever. i feel that i will stick with state farm for the foreseeable future.
Allstate
Overall i think i have a good homeowners insurance company. i like the agent and his staff and the fact that it's local. i like feeling like my personal agent knows and cares about me. i don't like that there are so many discount hoops you have to jump through i wish it were just a flat rate and not so complicated to figure out what the best rate is.
State Farm
The company's website is very easy to maneuver and find the required information. It can be a little confusing when you sign in if you don't remember your password.
Nationwide
Customer service has been highly responsive the few times that I have called them. They've been good at explaining coverage, etc.
Progressive
I've had good experiences with Progressive through the auto insurance, used the roadside service recently. But I have not made a claim at home. I do like how clear they define different aspects of the policy. Easy for a no expert to understand.
The Hartford
I like nothing about this company. I only had one claim in more than ten years. I called to verify that I had coverage, and then was told that I didn't once I put in the claim.
Liberty Mutual
I would not recommend this company to anyone who is going to change their insurance as the premiums and deductibles are way too high.
American Family Insurance
So my home insurance was bundled with my home when I purchased it. (I was a first time home buyer) I was assigned an insurance agent, Jared, who was extremely helpful, and understanding of someone who was new to this procedure. He explained all my coverage options, and let me comprehensively ask questions about each choice. He also went the extra mile to explain other things that were covered by the policy, like certain items of high value in the home, such as jewelry and firearms. He ended up getting me completely set up with the insurance policy, and made the entire process painless. After I ended up moving in to my home, he called me to follow up and make sure I was satisfied, and that everything was going well. I felt like the service was very tailored and personalized. 10/10, would go through this guy and AmFam again.
