It may not be the least expensive company offering insurance but you really do get what you pay for, the coverage is comprehensive and the service has always been outstanding. It is very active and approachable. Many of the people that work there are great and I have never had an issue. I rarely check the website, to begin with, so I do not think it is fair to use that in regards to my satisfaction with the company

If you have any problems they have a step by step guide on how to file. I enjoy this simplified approach it makes it easier for me and for them and speeds up the whole process for everyone.

They have exceptionally well customer service. They answer the phones on time and it does not cost too much to use them.

It is hard to cancel insurance with them. They are tricky about not entirely taking autos off of your policy when you ask them. (They have put a 5.00 a month hold on our auto policy for a truck I wanted to cancel and did not tell us). Also, they have recently pressured me for payment of my auto premium when I switched one of the household cars to Progressive to save money during a time of financial trouble.

The only complaint that I somewhat have in regards to the Allstate company is that they sometimes make too many phone calls in regards to new policies available and whether or not I am interested in them. I can understand placing one phone call or email to your customer, but four or five phone calls in one day is a bit much.
